The Good Word is produced by independent arts programme makers, 3^rd Party Productions, and is fronted by novelist Emily Perkins. The programme also features journalist Finlay Macdonald as roving reporter. Previous programmes and series made by 3^rd Party Productions includeThe Book Show and Talk Talk.
