Book Night starts earlier in the day in 2019
Book 'Night' 2019 will start earlier in the day than in previous years. To encourage schools, families with young children - and any 'larks' and early risers - to join in during the day, you will be able to read and record your participation from 9am on Tuesday 21 May 2019. Everyone who takes part and records their participation on this webpage, between 9am and midnight, goes into the prize draw.
Want to run an event?
If you are a school, bookshop, community group or whatever, why not run a Book Night event or activity (for the community or an invitation-only event). Get your thinking caps on and start spreading the word! If you need some inspiration, check out our Ideas & Info sheet for Book Night activities.
The registration page listing Book Night events around the country (yes, FREE publicity!) will open in the coming weeks, when a Book Night poster will also be available for you to download.
